1. Email Subject Tags

To help members filter or search through emails, please prepend a tag in the subject line:

  1. [CV] – For anyone seeking a job (with or without an attached CV/LinkedIn).
  2. [JOB] – For open positions, calls for outsourcing, or freelancing services.
  3. [ACADEMIC] – For academic collaborations, research positions, conference CFPs, or any university-related opportunities.
  4. [OTHER] – For anything else (e.g., office space, professional services, etc.).
  5. [PROMOTION] / [FREELANCE] – For promoting a business or service that directly benefits the Ascola / tech / academic community (e.g., a startup pitch, coworking space relevant to alumni, etc.). Must be personally connected to you or someone in the network.

2. Recruiting Agencies

  1. No Unauthorized Forwarding of CVs

    Forwarding a resume to a recruiting agency without explicit written permission from the CV owner is prohibited.

  2. Transparency

    If you work at, or own, a recruiting agency (and are also an Ascola alumnus/alumna), you must first obtain the candidate’s permission (by email) before contacting them in any capacity on behalf of your agency.

  3. Immediate Ban for Violations

    Any breach of these points will result in an immediate ban, no negotiation.
